Vintage as defined by Websters dot com: n. The yield of wine or grapes from a vineyard or district during one season. Wine, usually of high quality, identified as to year and vineyard or district of origin. The year or place in which a wine is bottled.
The harvesting of a grape crop. The initial stages of winemaking. Informal. A group or collection of people or things sharing certain characteristics. A year or period of origin: a car of 1942 vintage. Length of existence; age.
adj. Of or relating to a vintage. Characterized by excellence, maturity, and enduring appeal; classic. Old or outmoded. To be not quite as old as Bob Mehi.
Of the best: played songs that were vintage Cole Porter. Of the most distinctive: “Fatalism has coexisted with vintage American overconfidence” (Thomas Oliphant)

I think since Blue couldn't find this guy's definition of vintage, zipposr4me decided to find one and post it.

Just started my collection this summer and I so far have 10. My oldest Zippo is the 1993 collectible of the year, Varga Girl. My dad has had this lighter since then and since I took interest in Zippo's he let me have it. I don't use it so this one just stays up on the shelf. Very nice lighter.
