Rescued Lighter

Didn't really fit anywhere else,besides a new one attracts attenion.
Was over at that other place,read a forum called
"Zippoclick on E-Bay".
Seems that someone "rescued " a flame that unites black ice from a former banned memember.
If they are going to that much trouble to slam L-L
we must be having an effect on them.

I'm not sure exactly who she-woman is/was in the ZippoClick club and whether or not she was banned, but I'm pretty sure it's not anyone here at the Lighter Lounge.

It was Jon (theshellman, cybershellman on eBay) who posted this. He's an long-time member who hasn't been around for a while in the Zippo Click Forums. There was a big deal last year that people were selling the Zippo Click items on eBay, and that we would rescue them. Out of everyone there at ZC, theshellman would never even come close to slamming the Lighter Lounge, and would most likely join if asked.

It's an honest mistake though, since you weren't aware of who that guy was, and the past postings about us trying to keep the Zippo Click Exclusives in the club. That was the original intent of that entire thread, so that we would post a Zippo Click Exclusive so that we would buy them instead of letting them get out into the uninitiated public

I am not mistaken,the post was put on 09/21/05,shellman was the one who posted it and to quote"Hi blue ,just rescued a lighter designed by one of our members,it was listed on the 17th by a former banned member.
and was signed shellman.
There was another one that gave an item no for E-Bay,which did'nt mention any member.
But they definately said someone was banned from Zippoclick.

Yes that is what was posted, but as far as I am aware, there were no members of the Lighter-Lounge that were ever banned from ZC. The only member I have heard who was ever banned from ZC was a member named zippofrog. Other members either let their membership expire and not renew or just stopped posting there.

Your whole premise of this thread is based on a misconception, theshellman is not trying to slam the LL at all.

He was posting like I said based on the old philosophy that we had at that forum thread that we were saving the ZC lighters from being sold to the public (non-members of the club). And the link that I found is not from a post in the ZC forums, but it is from an eBay search that I did of theshellman's feedback and that led me to that eBay link that I just posted.

So my point of these answers to your post is that you are completely, utterly, and no-two-ways-about-it wrong, no one is slamming the Lighter-Lounge.

I have to agree with Blue in that there is nothing contained in this post by Shellman that even mentions LL, let alone slams it:

"Hi Blue. I rescued a "Flame That Unites" lighter that was designed by one of Click members , just the other day. It was on the 17th and put up by a banned ex-member... Shellman"

Blue is also correct I'm sure, that when asked Jon (shellman) will undoubtedly join us here in the Lounge.

nother reason why i dislike click, why do they care if the lighters get out, maybe if they took some time (and paid someone) to make it pretty then nobody would be selling it on ebay. zippoclick in text does not take that much thought (sorta like rap music)

Matt, that was sort of a member thing a little over a year ago where we all got very possessive about who got the member's only lighters. I think a lot of people have changed their thoughts on this subject lately....especially since a lot of times you can get the lighters cheaper on eBay later on after they are released and most of the time the ebay sellers will ship internationally and for a much cheaper cost than Zippo Click does.

And I wonder if any of the other ex/current click member's knows who she-woman is.
