That's the one that was designed by Len Shorter (camelmanlen on ZC) and made by Zippo for a select group of members who expressed interest in it. You're right that it's not an official Zippo and as such was prohibited from bearing the name or any other trademark item.
As to being a whistle blower? nah...canadianzippos (Randy) has been down this path before and is used to the controversy or so it seems. Speaking of which he joined this forum not long ago...

The official Click lighter definately looks more elegant than the the one
