Ive read from the posts hes very unreliable. I'd like to know how many people have that that. I know of one. A brit that i am to send some extra parts to. It's still on my list. Besides there is no money being exchanged here. It is mearly a donation to his hobby, on my part. So that hardly counts as me being "unreliable". Spanish Flea |

Yeah, Flea's a reliable guy. The delivery notice wasn't for the Ziplight though. Too bad, maybe I'll get it on Monday.

Okay boys, I've got the Ziplight and now have to go into some planning of how I'm going to open it up first of all. It doesn't seem very big, but it has to fit into a Zippo. I guess I thought I had more room to play with. Any ideas on how start on this project?

Diablo944, Did a mod on a Ziplight to replace the bulb with a low voltage LED, Instructions for that are here www.diablo944.co.uk/ziplight's_2nd_chance.htm For some reason it won't hyperlink with the underscore, so You'll have to copy and paste The two halfs of the case will come apart by running a fingernail along the join. Thanks, okay now I've opened it up and the metal inside has this blue stuff on it. It looks like its become very brittle so I've taken it out. I've actually taken everything out of it and am still deciding what to do next...

i think the only matches that will fit are the ones that come in the little boxes, i think "old timers" call them penny matches or something like that.
youll probably need to remove the center posts that run on the inside of the case.
and one word of warning: watch out for the cam spring when puting it back together, she can fly off.

Haha, she already flew off when I was taking it apart. Okay, I'll look for these penny matches, and if I remove the center posts how am I going to get them to pop up with each press of the button?
