Ah okay, I think I remember this guy. He should have just gotten one of those little Zippo fluid holders. Slick and holds enough to fill a Zippo.

All he had to do was drill another hole on the top of the insert. Plug the hole when not in use and unplug when you want fuel to come out. The second hole would have allowed air into the insert pushing fuel out. Its like when you open those large cans of juice with the can puncher.

Ah okay, well I don't have the actual Ziplight yet. Flea says he'll send it out tomorrow for me. Should arrive in the mail by Wednesday of next week, then we can proceed.

Haha, of course not..My Zippos are valuable to me, but when I can do something to increase the novelty value, well that doesn't hurt.

Hah, Flea's a good guy and he's sent me stuff before, and he told me he sent it out on Monday, but that was a Civic holiday here. It's only Thursday, so if I don't recieve it by sometime next week I'll let you know. Thanks for the encouragement. We really do have a great group of guys here on this board.

Thanks for that, and yeah it's tough to lose that kind of cash. Learning experience though.

Okay, I got a delivery notice from the post office today and it says I have a parcel for pickup tomorrow. Maybe it's the Ziplight. I'll keep everyone posted, and if it is...well, I'm going to need some advice in modding this bad boy.

Hey flea; wheres that picture of all the zippos you destroyed and chopped up? lol
Im still trying to find sheet metal. So far what ive found is just too thick and would basically take up almost all the space in the case. I remember my friend had some really thin sheet metal he used to make shims (dont ask) but i havent spoken to him in a few years....

Hey flea; wheres that picture of all the zippos you destroyed and chopped up? lol It's around here somewhere. I did a bit of cleaning on my website. I ran out of room where i host, so a lot of stuff got removed. I still have that can of scrap zippo metal. Spanish Flea
