It's two different ones.
"tribal hook on the 2nd one glows in the dark."
What is the texture like? Looks like it would be pretty rough.
And how much bigger does it make the lighter?

Well My wife and I both use a polymer wrapped and we have had no trouble with them. When I first started making tham I was using a spray on finish but have since figured out a much better way of polishing the polymer clay with out having to spray on a finish.I have never had any trouble with the polymer comming off.It is baked right on to the lighter case and seems to bond very well. They are very smooth and have the feel of polished stone. The texture is more of an illussion due to mixing different shades of clay.It makes them 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch bigger then a regular Zippo.I have one listed now on ebay and if anyone bids and wins I will be more then happy to take it back if you are not happy with it.Jeff Saint. The first one is over in Sweden

They look very interesting. Are those the only two you have, or the only ones you have pictures of?

I have some more photos of one's I have sold and I could take some of the one I am using now.The one I am using now has the same hook design as the glow in the dark.I made the one I use after the last international swap where I met Paul and his wife Martine.he gave me a bone hook on a neckless and I liked it so much I made the lighter to match the neckless. It never fails to get looks when I use it.Mine has more of a black marble look to it then the glow in the dark.I also did one to look like a chimney made of brick.Looked very cool and that one I left rough to give more of a brick feel to it.That one is in the Netherlands now if I remember correct.Jeff

I bought one from Jeff from eBay for the tsunami relief. I used it for a while, and had not had any trouble with anything coming off, etc. And it's not rough at all. Mine's a beauty, black and gray marble effect. I'd suggest buying one if you got the money or opportunity. Like Jeff said in his original post. It gives the Zip some extra weight in hand and definitely stands out! Looks great! I like the glow-in-the-dark effect Jeff, very cool!

how do you bake it, do you need a kiln or can you toss it in the oven, also is it flexible, and will it chip or cracked if droped?
and lastly is there any surface prep that you do?
sorry for all the questions im alittle curious about it.
