OK I am sure this has happened to all of us one time or another.
Ever lose a favorite or even just a daily user only to find it months later?
Set the stage.Early in the winter the wife, kids and myself went for a winter hike in the first snow.I got myself together and put a Zippo in my pocket and a few other supplies to make the hike.Got home and could not find little Zippo head.He is my Fav and I swore it was in my pocket when we left the house.Well , after stressing all winter long where it ended up I went out and tried to back track the hike and even took my metal detector with me.No luck.I figured my little friend was gone forever.Well the other night I was in "my Zippo room"(the wife calls it "her den") and I laid down on the floor to watch a movie.Much to my surprise my little Zippo Head had been under the sofa all winter long.Man was that a nice find.
So I guess what I am saying is next time you "misplace a lighter don't stress,they seem to have a way of finding you when you are not looking.
Anyone else have a good story about a lost lighter?

Nice Jeff! I had one go walkabout for a year and a half & then reappear - whew, sweet relief! Nowadays I try to keep it either in it's pouch or in my hand but in our house I'm the official keeper of the knowledge when it comes to where Martine's 2 Zippos are - she knows where everything else is but as for her Zippos ........
