just got 4 zippos through.3 ships ones which i mentioned,plus a crysler one which i paid £3 for.its only a 1941 crysler,3 barrel hinge.not the original insert though,so im still missing a 41 insert jeff.just modified this post.contacted the guy who i got the lighter from.he thinks he still has the original insert and will send it on.buzzin

Well mate you would not be the first to get a date messed up.It's real easy to get a bit jumpy when you get a New "old Zippo" and get a little mixed up trying to date them.I know one guy at a flea market who would sell me all the real old Zippos he had Real Cheap because he thinks the old ones have Roman numerals and not pat. Jules,What is the 3 barrel made of? is it nickle ,steel or chrome on brass?Get the magnet and check.Or look at the inside of the bottom case to see if it looks brass.The insert that I had in the real 41 came from the right year to fit your 3 barrel.jeff
