Hello Gents, I have a question about a marking on the #4 Barcroft. I'm asking this question for a kind Ebay fellow. He is asking what the number "3" stands for that is embosed on the inside lid. And i would like to know too.... Is is a mold number? A redesign number, (ie) they did three prototypes, and this model they ran with? Or did they put it there so in 25 years i would be asking this question. Also are there any websites that would list the differences between the four models. (i know there is, and i know the differences, it would be easyer to pass on a link.) Any help would help. Spanish Flea

Hee hee, Yeah, same user. LOL, The question is for him but also for me. I just got my first Barcroft a few weeks ago. And would like to post the info on my site as well.
I know the basics between the four models, with the size of the inserts and such. Just wondering if there is anything else to look for, ie markings and what they mean.

I know that they'll replace a broken hinge but have a feeling that the missing lid is a no-go unless they have some sitting in stock (highly unlikely, that)
