ive never been to a meet,so i dont really know how it works,ive just put in for my holidays from work for next year so i can go to my first meet.will we be outlaws because weve joined the lounge or will we be welcomed?

we won't be outlaws, we are collector's ands trickers who buy zippos and shar a passion for them, what fits better at a swap meet.If I get time off I will be there attending another one

no, Jules, rooms are available right now. In fact, they started taking reservations last month. I will probably end up waiting too long again and staying somewhere further away, but make your reservations as early as possible. And being in the ZC club, make your reservations to be at the special collectors event on Thursday July 20. I know I know, ZC sucks, but I won a Mazzi in 2004, ya can't beat that!

which hotels can you recommend blue,will be there with wife and boy so it needs to be tidy not too noisy,not that bothered about the price.just hope i can get time off.my boss and work mates think im mad flying across the pond to look at lighters.i know im mad.

I'm sorry Jules, I misspoke....Robin (from ZC, from Robin and Dana fame) described the procedure of at least the Best Western Bradford:

On January 2, 2006 (no sooner), you can call the Best Western and submit your name and address for a reservation for the July Swap Meet.

Sometime around the end of January, they will mail out forms to those who have submitted requests for reservations. People need to fill out the form and mail it back to Best Western as soon as possible.

In February, Best Western will then review the forms.

By early March, Best Western will let the chosen few know they can reserve a room.

This is straight from Bradford’s Best Western “Matt” who is manager (at least he was today).

I plan on going to the desoto holiday house.Thats where Paul,freespirit07 and blue eyes stayed last time and where he and she will be this time.I figure that way we can go down to the bar shoot some pool and sit around and jaw for a while.Check it out freddy.It's even close enough to walk.Jeff aka bigbaddad

I don't think there is a age limit. In fact there shouldn't be. As long as your old enough to get there, there will be no problem.

As far as being outlaws. Saint, Capo, and I were the outlaws last time. I was a bit nervus about going, but was really supprised at how many people knew me. Even the higher ups knew me. Everyone was friendly and it made for a nice time.

Besides, i think the Zippo car needs a LL.com sticker.
