Well I guess this fits in here. I am interested in others local collecting experiences. Not only great finds but dealing with various vendors as well. I have tried just about every kind of store imaginable looking for zippos. Most of time I come up empty! There however two "junk" shops around that have a pleasant surprise once in awhile. I got a awesome set of three MIBs from the 40s,50s,60s at antique furniture store! Most folks know I collect and are fairly good about watching out for them and some have called me if the get something in. There is a tobbacco shop in the nearby city (I live in the middle of no where right beside nothing!). I used to have a good repore with them both in the store and on the phone. My last time there he hassled me to get this lighter he got in a year after I asked about it! I think most folks are decent towards collectors since they know they will be buying!
