Zippo as Art

[Spanish Flea]

I know we have a few artists here. But i thought i'd start a thread to show off some of your zippos. A Zippo over the years will collect a patina over the years. Also some people will modify their zippo to make it work better for them. Or a design you may have etched or scrached on. Whatever.

So i'll start, This zippo was a Orange Camel. The paint was pretty beat up, so i sanded off the paint on the front and back. Then finished it up giving it the brushed look.

These pix were taken after i attached it. I have since polished the hinge. This zippo is my daily, it's always with me.

Yea dude took mme like 5 min to figure out why the last one was
considered altered.. then it caught.. cool as sh!t dude.. and I've already
told you how much the orange one makes me wanna drop acid with the
Brady Bunch.. damn wood panneling.. lol
