Just an Update, I've gotten the Doner Zippo from BBD. I've removed the cam, and found that the tubing i have to make the rivit, is to big.
I went to the hobby store and they don't have the size tube in need. 1/8 to big and 3/32 (i think it was) is to small.
So back home i went and filed the hole on the Cam bigger to fit the 1/8 tube.
I've got a dry fit and it looks good. I hope tonight I can crimp down the rivit. I've been to busy to play.
More soon.

Had some time to put some pix on my Flicker account. ( www.flicker.com ) User name is Spanish Flea This is how i got it. Newer cam and a Brass Pop Rivet. This is the first soder attempt. I have since taken out the led and I'm going to use JB Weld to fill the hole. My Sonic Cleaner working hard. Here are the tools i use to make my own rivets. I use the middle one to start the flair, then use the one on the right to bring the flair out more. then I do the same to the other end, with the flat punch on the other side. Enjoy, Spanish Flea

This is the new Rivit, installed. Look good. This is a pix with a new wick installed. And this is it Lit. Looks good. but with the old style Flint Wheel, it's a bit hard to light. Spanish Flea

flea, is it possible to send me the correct dimensions for the humped spring? I've a couple inserts with broken springs and I was going to try to play around with some black steel strapping (being spring steel) and fashion replacements. The only other way I have available to get the correct dimensions is to remove the spring from a good insert and would prefer not to go that route. cheers,
