hey i am wondering wat everybody's favorite lighters are mayby you can post a pikture here and why its your favorite

my favorite is the lady barbara ive got just becouse i like it and did not find a real old lighter
but i am gonna find one soon i feel it in my toe's

I would love to put up a pic of my favorite lighter, but I, lacking in the skills of figuring out how to attach it to a post is lacking. Its my '41' Lockheed zip. Any help on posting a pic would be great.

Z1G don't feel bad.I am in the same boat as far as posting photos.I have a few every day lighters that I use because they are my favorite zippos.One I use all the time is a Vietnam short with an outside hinge.Being a short I have to fill more often but it looks so dam good I keep using it.That one really gets some looks when I use it and it is one of my favorites.My other favorite is one I got while in the Navy of my old ship USS Spiegel Grove LSD-32.Jeff aka bigbaddad

I almost forgot my trusty Zippo head zippo.It a 41 replica J-02.Man now thats got to be on my top five list of favorite Zippos of all times.Fact is I am going to have that one done as a tattoo on my back if I can ever come up with the cash.Jeff aka bigbaddad

So how to post a pikture

1) Go to a site on the internet thad hostes piktures (i use www.putfile.com/ )

2) uplode the pikture from your pc to the putfile site

3) when its uploded you see your pikture with 3 url's behind it take the one where BB stands for copy it and then paste it in your message at the LL Board

the pikture is then displayed in the forum

try it you will see its very easy

My favourite has to be my Realtree Camo Zippo. It's been through some tough times and still lights every time. Every single Camo Zippo looks different, so this is pretty close to mine.

the site I use to post pictures into for uploading is photobucket.com.
I'll walk you through this Jeff and hopefully it'll work!
-register for free to the site
-go to "add a picture" and click "browse"
-search your computer for the pic you want and "submit"
-the pic will now appear in your album
-click the URL window to highlight it and "copy"
-now, when you post a reply here go to "add tags" and the second row, fourth from the left button will read "insert image" when you move the cursor over it
-click this button
-(img)(img/) will appear in your message window
-paste the URL between the "][" brackets (I've used the () brackets above as using the [] brackets messes things up)

It sounds a bit much but after doing it you'll get the hang of it Jeff!

So without further adieu, this little '56 is my favourite (you'll have to wait a while for me to sell it to ya Lou!) ;D

A simple brass lighter is my favorite. Nothing special about it, but its in my pocket every day. If I get around to taking a pic, I'll stick it up. Though I'm sure you all know what it looks like. It has sentimental value now though.

It is real hard to pick just one,but I
guess it would be my 1943 black crackle,
but then again there's my 1936 Erie Resistor

I guess you could say they are all my favorites
