I'm think it was just done with pictures. Move the zippo, take picture, move zippo, take picture etc. Same why you would with clay animation...
Could be wrong, but that's my guess anyway.

Yep haha, I woulda figured that out too. Only because it's pretty jerky. Joe, if you make it so that its more frames per second, the video will flow smoother, making it harder for people like Fetus to guess.
